How the Pet Cooling Vest works. Submerge the vest in cold water for 5-8 minutes. Remove and wring out excess water. The Cooling Vest is now ready to wear, providing 4 to 6 hours of cooling for your pet. After use this pet jacket will become dry and stiff after 24 hours. To reuse, simply submerge the vest in cold water again.
