Galantino Puglian Basil Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 100ml

Basil infused oil is a great alternative to fresh herbs. When you don’t have fresh basil to hand, add a splash of basil EVOO instead. It’s delicious on pizza and salads with tomatoes and burrata.
For a classic Italian appetiser, marinade chopped tomatoes with basil oil and garlic. Add a pinch of salt and a splash of balsamic vinegar. Pile on top of toasted bread and serve with a glass of prosecco. It’s a great make-ahead starter for dinner parties.

Galantino is based in the town of Bisceglie, Puglia – the region that produces more olives than any other in the world. The medieval town is steeped in history, perched on the Adriatic coast and surrounded by ancient olive groves. Galantino’s oil is renowned for its quality and consistency, and holds protected status (PDO). The family olive mill has been pressing oil since 1926, and is run today by the third generation. All their olives are carefully selected and washed before being crushed on traditional stone mills.
