Sound & Build Quality
The drivers in FAZON LCR have a lot of similarities with the drivers used in the multiple award winning DALI IKON and MENTOR speakers. The cabinet is made of die cast aluminum, which makes it possible to create an asymmetrical shape with internal bracings, which will suppress both acoustic and mechanical resonances in the cabinet structure.
CLICK ‘N’ CONNECT
No cables, no connectors, no hassle – just use the Click’n’Connect wall bracket that is delivered with the speaker. The FAZON LCR wall bracket ensures an easy and secure fixation on the wall, and at the same time a hassle-free audio-grade connection of the speaker.
On the rear side of the Click’n’Connect connector, the high quality audio grade crossover is mounted – ensuring a short signal path. Speaker wires are fastened to the gold plated connectors on the back side of the wall bracket, which are designed to allow the choice of a hidden wire (in-wall) or an on-wall speaker cable. Gold plated 4mm banana plug style Connector pins will ensure high quality electrical connection between the loudspeaker and the wall bracket.
The speaker may be rotated to desired vertical or horizontal orientation without affecting polarity. The correct connection is clearly recognised by an audible “click” when the speaker is pushed onto the wall bracket. For extra caution, the release button can be locked with an integrated lock-screw. Mounted on the wall the distance from wall to outer speaker point is only 11.5 cm/4.6 inches.
TWEETER
Most dome tweeters are 25–26mm diameter. FAZON LCR share tweeter technology with other DALI speakers, and are based on a 28mm voice coil. That means 25% longer voice coil circumference and better power handling, both short and long term compared to more common 1 inch tweeters. Moreover, power compression is reduced because of the oversized voice coil.
WOOFER
The FAZON LCR features a pair of 4.5 inch wood fibre cones, which have become a speciality in DALI driver designs since the introduction into the top-line EUPHONIA series.
E-9 F SUBWOOFER
The heart of this subwoofer is the 170W RMS Class D amplifier with a highly linear response. Embracing a classic DALI trademark, it simply acts as a total low frequency extension of your AV system. The result is a powerful, wellbalanced bass reproduction and flawless integration with your speakers. In addition, the integrated limiter helps protecting your subwoofer against overloading.
The back plate of SUB E-9 F features controls for volume adjustment, phase, and upper cut-off frequency, while the power on/off function works automatically via signal detection. And with the options for LFE or LINE inputs, this subwoofer easily accompanies any AV set up.
