Coleman Event Shelter Performance L Bundle
The Coleman Event Shelter is by far and away the most popular gazebo for camping or outdoor use in the UK and for the new season Coleman have made a new High Spec Performance version and has priced it the same as the entry level shelter. Available in three sizes you can choose how much space you need. The smallest of the range is an ample sized 3 x 3m (‘M’) which is ideal for a market stall or to have up in your garden. The next size up is the ‘L’ model which is a bit bigger at 3.65 x 3.65m. The largest and most popular size is the ‘XL’ which gives you a whopping 4.5 x 4.5m of space.
Due to the design of the Event Shelter having very upright walls you can easily utilise every square metre of the shelter and with the Performance version you get all of the walls included so you can keep the weather out. Each Wall simply Velcro’s onto the frame and is very upright when attached to give you the maximum amount of space. The bundle includes 3x Sunwalls & 1x Sunwall Door so you can completely enclose the shelter but get easy access in and out when needed.
What makes the Performance Event Shelter different to the rest of the Coleman’s range is the specification of the material used; for this top end shelter they have used a thick 150D material with a 3000mm waterproof rating to give the gazebo a longer lifespan and a more premium feel. This model is also completely waterproof unlike the normal version. The seams are critically taped you won’t get any water dripping through the stitching to make sure everything inside the shelter remains dry. Other high-end features include additional storage pockets throughout the shelter for storing the walls or equipment in and additional roof ventilation with its own sky windows. As the Performance Shelter comes with storm straps all the way around the tent, this makes it more stable in British weather.
Overall, we honestly think this is the best Event Shelter on the market and because it is so closely priced to its competitors there really is no reason why you wouldn’t choose it.
