Taking cues from the rustic charm of New York’s Adirondack region, this chair is a classic American design that joins comfort with rustic charm.
Thomas Lee is credited with creating the predecessor of the modern Adirondack chair in 1903 while he was visiting Westport, New York, where he needed outdoor seating for his vacation home.
His designs were initially trialled by his relatives and eventually developed into the recognised armchair layout we have today.
Featuring Barlow’s plantation-grade teak and renowned craftsmanship, the Adirondack set includes an armchair, footrest, and side table.
